The STANDART+ is the workhorse of the SparqX lineup. Twelve slots, 22-watt charging, IP54 enclosure, 4G + Wi-Fi 5 connectivity, 5.5" color screen, weighing in at 7.8 kg. It's designed to install in 20 minutes and survive five years of public abuse.
Build choices we made — and would make again:
Universal cables. Every powerbank has USB-C, Lightning, and micro-USB built in. We tested wireless. The handoff was poor, the heat was worse, the cost was triple. Cables won.
4G LTE Cat-4 standard. Wi-Fi is optional. We do not require the venue's network because half the venues we want don't have stable Wi-Fi, and the ones that do don't want to share it. A SIM is $1.20 per month per station at scale.
OTA firmware. Every station updates from anywhere on the network. We have shipped 14 firmware updates since launch — bug fixes, payment integrations, hardware diagnostics — none required a truck roll.
IP54 enclosure. Not IP65 (waterproof). The trade-off was weight and cost vs. realistic deployment locations. Indoors and covered outdoor — yes. Direct rain — no. We'll IP65 the MAX flagship for stadiums and festivals.
