How do I rent a powerbank?+
Open the SparqX app (or any camera), scan the QR on the station, confirm the rental, and a powerbank ejects in under two seconds. No app download needed for one-time guest checkout.
Where can I return the powerbank?+
Any SparqX station, anywhere on the network. Drop it into a free slot — billing stops the moment it locks back in.
How much does it cost?+
$0.30 per hour, capped at $5 per day. Day-pass, monthly and annual subscriptions are available in the app. Prices may vary slightly by country and are billed in local currency.
Is there a deposit?+
We place a temporary hold of $20 on your card at pickup. It is released automatically when you return the powerbank.
What if I don't return the powerbank?+
After 24 hours of continuous rental the day-cap converts to a one-time replacement fee of $35. You keep the powerbank. You can also return it any time and the fee is refunded if the unit is undamaged.
